Azuchi: Drug Store

A drug store sign in Azuchi… As the son of a pharmacist, I think this is hilarious. Just pop those pills! Never seen anyone do it quite like that, but whatever works. If I had to live in the countryside I might resort to that as well.
This photo will be featured in a book about drug stores around the world… I don’t know the title yet, but it will be published in 2009. It also appears in the January 2009 edition of the Dutch medical journal Nederlands Tijdschift voor Geneeskunde, page 108. The accompanying article is here.
