I’d walk a long way for a…. for a… well, not for a stupid cigarette, anyway!

Besides the "Start Walking" program at my work that’s got me walking, biking, dancing, etc. for the equivalent of 10,000 steps a day or more, I also thought it would be fun to keep account of my walking-plus at the WOMAN Challenge site. WOMAN Challenge is sponsored by the Office on Women’s Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, with the same goal: 10,000 steps a day or more, & uses "Virtual Routes" to monitor progress, & using "multiplier factors" between cities, since 8 weeks of 10,000-step days would not get me such a distance in reality.
Anyway, I picked the Pacific Coast route which starts (virtually) in St. Michael, Alaska, & ends in Honolulu. I’ve been to St. Michael, so pretty cool to start there. So far, in six days, I’ve supposedly traveled from St. Michael to McGrath.

In reply to Belgian ‘burnt’ herself to death : Yes she had problems in Belgium as in her dad isnt well and she was due to fly there this week to see them! Even tickets have been bought. The report has made it sound like she killed herself because of the problems in belgium. The woman had a life, children and grandchildren. Could it not be that it was all staged to look like suicide?
